Fox News Reporter: Scandalized DHS Report Needs Second Look

Nine days ago, I joined Greg Sargent in wondering if the murder of George Tiller should prompt a "second look" at the DHS report on homegrown right-wing extremists that was so scandalized by pundits who insisted it was some sort of high concept government crackdown on mainstream conservatives, despite the fact that it was a report initiated by the Bush administration in which the word "conservative" never appeared. In the wake of today's recent tragic events at Washington DC's Holocaust museum, that second look seems even more appropriate. Catherine Herridge, reporting for Fox News, agrees:

      Gaw-leeee. Surprise, surprise surprise.

      Why is it that Free expression has NOW somehow been "deep sixed?"

      Why is it the houses for resolving "civil" disputes are NOW equipped (as though barricaded) with "Metal detectors?"

      Why is it that sojourners for truths NOW find themselves ostracized by the NOW trendy and fashionable Political Corrects/ness?

      Perhaps, we're simply coming to terms with the ever eventual awareness of true needs for sustaining oaths and obligations so readily crumbled today by our "greater enlightened" who so readily succumb the allure to Mores.

      So, who is it that 'Paints the Town" with Hate Hype?

      Maybe its our "Family Place." Referencing the DART fiasco in Dallas TX.

      Public acknowledgement, the most important but difficult step.

      And NOW, it appears that the Family Place is not deemed safe until "tagged" appropriately with "hate speech" of our more enlightened and self-licensed ventriloquist for the needy.

      But don't take my word for it; look for yourselves.

      One would think that it should never pay,
      To hate,
      Discriminate,
      Or invigorate
      Ill-will.
