Carrie Prejean was ousted by Donald Trump for " for failing to honor her commitments as Miss California USA."

Prejean became famous for her anti-gay comments during the Miss USA pageant and her subsequent homophobic commercials for NOM.

Prejean went MIA following her anti-gay launch to stardom and refused to answer calls from Miss California officials in the after math of the media storm. It appears she never did get back to them.

Bye-bye Prejean. You won't be missed.

    • Well after all thetrumpster or Dumpster whatever he is at the time is a self proclaimed. man of importance in the twentieth century and part of the twentifirst century but like Rush Limburg and the rightwingers, they will be totally forgotten halfway through this century. These beauty pageants mean nothing today, Im not sure they ever did.

    • I hate to say I agree with the Trumpster but I agree with both his decision - to defend her original statement and to fire her for not doing her duties.

      But the whole thing was ridiculous! She's a beauty queen - not a political leader. She has a right to her opinion regardless of how wrong it might be.

      It bugs me when people who have the audacity to call or think themselves liberal turn on someone else's right to free speech and opinion because it doesn't fit their socio-political brand.

      And furthermore, her comments were not "anti-gay" - they were "anti-gay marriage." There is a difference. This is just yellow trash journalism without a hint of objectivity.

      I don't know why this still needs to be explained to people, but perhaps I'll repeat it anyway.

      These liberals you speak of (rightfully) criticized Prejean's comments. However, what you fail to understand is that criticizing another person's comments is NOT censoring or limiting free speech. Rather it's USING free speech to respond to another statement that one disagrees with. So, can we please stop acting like Carrie Prejean was some kind of victim of liberal censorship?

      When you express an opinion, especially when it's over a heated subject and ESPECIALLY when you express it on television, you should absolutely expect negative feedback. That's what she got. It's how the world works.

      negative feedback is one thing but to call someone an ignorant bitch among other things is another. Having a difference of opinion however controversial doesn't mean one has to stoop to such base levels. A person is not ignorant (though perhaps a bitch/bastard) for having a different viewpoint.

      And again the whoop-la raised over it was ridiculous! She's a beauty queen, dammit! If she said the moon was made of blue cheese would it disqualify her anymore for the position?
