As if this really needed to be confirmed: Max Drummey has admitted his whirlwind wedding to Peaches Geldof was a 'publicity stunt'.
He says he saw his six-month marriage to Peaches as a joke, claiming the Las Vegas nuptials garnered his band 'amazing publicity'.
'It was totally a publicity stunt. 100 per cent. I have her [Peaches] on retainer. Not as my PR, as my friend. On my personal payroll. She's my friend for money. She also orchestrates publicity stunts for me,' Drummey said.
Max and Peaches were married at A Little White Chapel in Vegas after a 10-day courtship, splitting soon after and divorcing in February.
Chester French, Drummey's band, played only its fourth ever London gig in Shoreditch this week to a small crowd, begging the question whether the publicity stunt was worth it.

Max Drummey is an idiot. He was quoted in the Daily Mail the other day, saying “We’re guys who have been hurt by women and I’m glad people like Chris Brown are finally taking it back and hurting women.”It seems like most of the stuff coming out of his mouth is rubbish. Even if he's saying it to be funny or ironic or cool, he's coming off looking like a douche.
