That is why one doing the commute needs to pack a pistol. With crazies like this, and the threats they make, you have to be able to defend yourself, and with more than a rolled up travel atlas......

I take the roads from the Verazzano Bridge in Brooklyn to Staten Island 4 days a week.

I can tell you that if you are going anywhere under 65 mph in the middle lane (the limit is 50 people!!!), you will be blinked at, beeped at, and then nearly hit ever time when they cut in real close to prove they can have car tantrums. This happens sometimes three times a day on a 20 minute commute!!!

There are sooo many drivers in NY who don't have licenses and they drive cars with bogus plates. Each day, I see Wyoming, Colorado, North Carolina...Yeah, these morons really want to live in NY and commute 20000 miles. Yeah right! These people have bogus insurance, as well.

They get fake plates from families in those states hard up for $$. The families get paid good $$ to say these NYers live with them in Georgia, Montana, Texas.

I've driven over 20 years and had one fender bender which wasn't my fault. Nearly perfect record.

I'm Jersey born and raised and I've NEVER seen such dangerous drivers in my life. EVER!

It's when they cut you off nearly clipping the front of your front bumper to prove a point that they can go faster is when they really cross the line.

I don't know where they learn this deplorable behavior, but many come over from Russia. I've seen what goes on with drivers in Russia, this could have something to do with it. Criminals and mafia. They all have darkly tinted windows and put their plates under shaded plastic so you can't read the numbers. Things that all used to be ILLEGAL to do.

Ive seen many migrant workers doing that too, with 10 people in the cars and they have plates that read North Carolina and Texas (big surprise there!).

Cops do ab-so-f*cking-lutley NOTHING!!!

Not sure why, as the taxi drivers in New York City actually honk at you 6 times before you attempt that mad dash across Madison Avenue. That shows how much they care. ;) I walked into a bar in Rrovidence, and the bar tender, who was talkin' to his buddy, saw me come in, and actually demanded, "What do YOU want?" (I want a can of Hoffenreffer's Private Stock, you stupid f***k!) Rhode Islanders were rude, not friendly at all. But New Yorkers, well, they live in their own little world. Rude as hell, but if you're ever bored in New York, you need to get your head examined. Rude drivers? that's the price of admission.
