    • I did received the call but my cell phone was off charging during the call.

If anyone have the "report" of the conference from Yesterday and would like to post here or a link will be fine. Thanks!

    • While I disagree with the emissions targets vehemently in this bill and that not enough attention is being paid to deforestation, agriculture, and also even considering a carbon fund rather than cap and trade, I do understand it is the start and the first time a major climate change bill has a chance to make it to the House floor. But as was asked of us at the end of this call tonight, I did leave a brief message for my representative and asked him to work to pass this bill based on science and their emissions targets and not politics and to think of the generations to come in not allowing special interests to shape the future. Will they listen? I hope so. Otherwise, we will just have to go around them and start protesting more fervently in THIS country.

    • Yes, shallow is the mind that hides in the darkness, refusing to come out into the light... is there no recompense for those who squander their attention on the rabble of others who do their thinking for them... is the power of logic and reason beyond their grasp..?

Surely, the protection of the environment and of human rights won't forever be left up to the passive masses, who seem to be dwelling, still, in the Dark Ages, when it comes to issues of our planet's environment...

Shallow is the mind that hides in the darkness, Thargor... are you afraid to speak your mind about your position on environmental issues..? Do you disagree with what Al Gore has to say..? Have you become muted from the frustation of having listened to all of the right-wing talking points for so many years that it has taken away your power of reasoning for yourself..?

no i very much stand behind and ahead of the green movement. i am very earth conscious, but I do disagree with Gore on many levels, especially his wife and her involvement in the PMRC. but i appreciate his avatar being an axis of change in others.

    • just slap a "tipper sticker" on the whitehouse and entrance to national parks, but instead of explicit lyrics we'll say explicit govt and climate.

    • Abstractics, man you have got to get a clue... If you know anything at all about Al Gore, then you know that he is not searching for power. He is here to enlighten the passive masses, individuals such as yourself, who need direction...who need their eyes opened... it would really do you good to listen to Mr. Gore tomorrow night...

Al Gore deserves an enormous amount of credit for the dedication that he has shown to the world in exposing the reality of global warming and the nature and extent of man's abuses to the environment...

I'm looking forward to tuning in...
