A cat shot by a thug with a crossbow spent a week with the 14-inch crossbow bolt through his body before making it back to his family's garden.
The bolt entered Dave the tabby cat through the neck and came out by his left elbow, missing his heart and lungs and ending up right through his thoracic cavity.
Amazingly, vets were able to remove the bolt and Dave is now recovering nicely.

How rough is that for that poor cat?! If I had a cross bow bolt inside me for any amount of time I don't think I'd be able to move much let alone make it home.
