Help us find video from Baharestan Square protest today

afitzgerald
This video, which is dated from yesterday, looks a lot calmer. Reports are that last night government forces rounded up a large number of dissidents and protest leaders. I also think they blocked Mousavi from attending his rally in this location - which according to his Twitter post from yesterday - is the one he called for people to attend.

    • Andrew Sullivan quotes from the CNN phone interview (longer excerpt at his site): "We went on until Ferdowsi then all of a sudden some 500 people with clubs came out of [undecipherable] mosque and they started beating everyone. They tried to beat everyone on [undecipherable] bridge and throwing them off of the bridge. And everyone also on the sidewalks. They beat a woman so savagely that she was drenched in blood and her husband, he fainted. They were beating people like hell. It was a massacre."

    • WATCH AT 1:33. This is the only video I found for today. Maybe there are more from today but many sites are shut down and bloggers are on the run from authorities.

Demonstrations not allowed, guards everywhere. It took one allahu akbar, and then it started. The people are afraid, but all it takes is one person to start it.

They are cursing the basijis and riot police: ''Sellout, son of a whore, killers, etc etc.''

at 5:30 they attack some people and people disperse. Basijis follow on their bikes.

THURSDAY IS RALLY DAY. Bazaars (malls) will be packed with people in protest to shut down the economy.
Sepahe pasdaran of the Islamic Republic issued multiple announcements and warned the protesters of the Sepah, Basij (volunteer paramilitary group) and riot police’s serious encounter.

Sepahe pasdaran threatened what they call “agitator” to end all what they call “violence and disturbance”.
In these announcements; they called the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s last week speech a “divine” and they warned that the primary job and goal of the Sepahe Pasdaran, Basij and the riot police is to strictly encounter the agitator and those whom are a threat against the Islamic republic.

Sepehe Pasdaran of Islamic Republic the insistence of “passing the red lines and following the scenarios to agitating the public mind”are the obvious actions against the interest of Iran. The riot police and Basij will not hesitate to face the agitators.

    • CNN though has been replaying a phone call with someone in Tehran describing a "massacre" at the demonstrations.

Anyone see any other video? Can you clip it here in the comments?
