Apparently, company executives sought an all-white team of sales staff to promote its Fructis shampoos, trying to prevent black, Asian and Arab women from selling them in French supermarkets.

I swear Beyonce has her skin lightened on her promotional photos too. and being the diva that she is I bet SHE controls that. So in this case it might not entirely be L'oreal.

the french cosmetics industry isn't all bad though.... i love this series of adverts by Bourjois...
