After an unexpected four days of uninterrupted play, and blissful sunshine at the championships now sadly, the experts say rain is on its way.
So the multi-million pound roof will be put to the test for the first time. It was shut on Thursday night in a super-efficient 8 minute ceremony. And if it stays closed Roger Federer will become the first player to play under its spooky gloom.
I wonder if the atmosphere is enhanced inside the stadium with the roof shut. The Millennium stadium is an amazing place with the roof closed and the noise just thunders round.
