I say let's hope less for peace and more for higher thinking and more intelligent leaders...I think peace will come shortly thereafter...And when I say "higher thinking", I mean in the sense that we don't limit ourselves to materialistic and convenient advances in learning.

    • Uhm 6.5? I am not even sure what is meant by the question. These are Pakistani soldiers that died fighting for Pakistani interests. Unless you think that allowing the Pakistani government (and its nuclear arsenal) to fall into the hands of the Taliban is a better idea?

    • A purported Taliban spokesman, Ahmadullah Ahmadi, claimed responsibility for the strike.

He told reporters by phone: 'We will keep on attacking the forces as long as the military continues operation in this region.'

However, intelligence officials said 20 soldiers were killed in the attack and 35 were wounded.

The army said in a statement another government soldier died in South Waziristan when militants launched a pair of attacks.
