Want to win a year's licence to busk on London's Underground? Well get ready to audition as there's a talent show looking for the cream of the busking crop. The prize? Highly sought after spots with 20 minute slots for the 100 best performers.

There's also a chance to win a guitar signed by Sting but, sadly, the competition is only for the young'uns - 16 to 25 - Which rules the amazingly musically talented moi, out!

Full deets, from a mole - no less, at the link...

    • I saw a busker in Angel tube t'other day and I've never seen such a captive audience; there is a lot of talent amongst buskers.

    • I think the talented buskers are a nice addition to underground travel. The ones who suck, on the other hand, always make me want to punch the wall. I totally support trying to get the best of the bunch playing for travellers.
