    • Gee, it's still not as high as when Jimmy Carter worked on the system. It was up in the double digits for a good while. Didn't get better until the mid 80's.
But I'm sure with the actions sped up by the congress since they got their Manchurian Candidate in place the unemployment rates will surpass even Jimmy's worst numbers!.

    • Ihatethemall did this start with Obama. Get a hard on for the real villians the free market economy and the thieves that perpetrate the fraud. The real unemployment rate has always been higher than you think; ckeckout the number of people not collecting for whatever reason, and recent grads that never found employment. Oh yeah, thank your capitalist friends for selling our real base of strength to the chinese and others.

He told us all that unemployment would hit 8% if the porkinus bill wasn't passed. He used scare tactics to pass a bill that no one read. If you don't see a problem with that then I don't know what to tell you.

    • Where are all the loyal sheeple at?
Shouldn't they be here defending their lord and master? Giving us all reasons why this is happening all the while excusing obama? And blaming it on everything from Bush to Palin to Global warming.

    • Are you saying that everyone who voted for the big dog didn't have a job? Either that or you haven't realized how stupid people are. Remember, this is a country that doesn't even encourage it's citizens to read. Besides, those same ignorant people would have voted for Hillery as the big prez. That would have been worse (granted, not that worse), but you and I both know that this two party system doesn't work.

    • But, but, Obama said unemployment would go above 8% if we passed his stimulus/pork barrel/earmark bill. The Messiah couldn't have been wrong, could he? No, that would never happen, must be the work of some right wing extremist.
