Government should allow cultivation of Marijuana for medical purposes, Sri Lanka Indigenous Medicine minister Tissa Karaliyadda says.
"This 'banned plant' (Marijuana) is a treasure for tradieational local medicaine" Karaliyadda said.
Foreign countries who banned this plant for us now using it, he added.
"In my foreign tours I saw large Marijuana cultivations using for medical tests" minister said adding that Sri Lanka should allow cultivation of Marijuana under goverment supervison.
