Prescription painkillers made her retch. Muscle relaxants ravaged her liver. So Jean Marlowe put down her pills and rolled a joint.

"I tried marijuana, and in five minutes, my stomach stopped shaking for the first time in five years," said Marlowe, who has used marijuana as medicine since a doctor recommended the drug in 1990. "It really does work."

Before the Federal Prohibition of 1937, Rexall drug stores carried highly refined tinctures of the different cannabinoids which specialized in treating and curing various diseases. The American Medical Association, to its credit back then, opposed the Prohibition Act. But since Big Pharma filled in the vaccuum when holistic and herbal medicines were banned...And have since subverted the practice of medicine by making MDs sample pushers, catering breakfasts and lunches for their staff, and greasing the palms of Congresspeople..,the idea of benign preventive medicine is coldly ludicrous today when
Trillions can be made ransoming back people's health
with dangerous quack remedies humans never evolved around.

tray researching, try talking to someone like me. Prescription do little to actually relieve the spasms I have and leave me barely able to dial a phone or hold a conversation. Pain killers don't do much either and some cause such nausea that pain is preferable. Pot , just a tiny bit that causes no high as d o the addictive pain relievers ( best research shows no addiction to pot evidenced by physical symptoms). I am left, with pot, functional both by the clearness of mind and relief of pain and the ability to move more easily than with any of the legal drugs. If you had a disease like mine you would change your mind quickly. And by the way only morons smoke it, there are much better ways to injest it.
