ebruce, I am the one who feels sory for your very limited worldview. Why must be there so much personal animosity? Because I went to Franciscan makes me very knowledgeable- about Theology, Church History, etc. Slam it if you like- I myself found the students there very, very sheltered- I had been out of the Navy 4 years when I decided to enroll. Ignorance is not when someone disagrees with you- that is very narrow thinking- I disagree with people on Current, but I don't think they are ignorant- many of them have advanced degrees. I respect all viewpoints, but I have the right to disagree, and have never said to anyone "your an idiot" (as some have said to me, complete with misspellings. Name calling is only a weak attempt to choke off meaningful dialogue, used especially when the accuser can't come up with anything solid to back up his arguments. Food for thought. Peace.

Eleganza, you have referred to conservative Black republicans as Uncle Toms. Larry Elder, John McWhorter, Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, etc. You wish to keep the culture of dependency going, and use this repressiveness for political gain (here I am referring to democrats) . I have never referred to Black Americans as Uncle Toms- I can't say the same for you. Once again, you have exposed your racism (or at the very least, your predjudice) for all to see.

How do you figure? Because I support Black Conservatives? Because I support the National Black Republican Caucus? Because I support the National Association of Black Republicans? How does that make me a racist? Obviously, you have never read any of my posts!!

You support those groups because they agree that if African Americans would just be more white things would be better....interestingly enough,, unless you are suffering from the Stockholm syndrome, you don't identify with the people who have abused the hell out of you...

Powell should be the face of the Republican party. They would be more relevant then. He is well spoken, intelligent, and an all around good guy.

Guys like unclecharlie are eager to make people of color the villain so as to justify their attitudes and behavior towards them. What guys like him are deathly afraid of is that one day the people who have been subjected to real racism, such as lynchings, jim Crow laws, ridiculous portrayals of them as characters like step an fetchit, Amos and Andy, lazy sombrero wearing Mexicans sleeping off a binge wearing bandolero's, watermelon eating stereotypes... yes, what they fear is that the day is coming when the people who's mothers and fathers were publicly and daily humiliated will be in a position to return the favor. they fear that one day the descendants of the people subjected to those life long humiliations will be able to practice some REAL racism because they will have gained control of the legislation, courts, police ,movie and TV production. THAT my friends is the difference between being prejudiced and racism...it's one thing to have a blanket dislike of an entire group of people, it's quite another to have the power to make their lives Hell on Earth.

Limbaugh lives in total hypocrisy. He himself is a proven racist.
He also said that all drug addicts should be thrown in jail and the key should be thrown away. That was before he became a drug addict himself, but what happened to his self imposed sentence?

Stereotyped Jews by calling them "diamond merchants"
Freddies Fashion Mart- Sharpton loves fomenting race riots, this one resulted in the death of Yankel Rosenbaum by a mob incited to riot by Sharpton, shouting 'kill the Jews!' Called the landlord, "a white interloper" after the landlord was forced to raise the rent on his tenant (who happened to be Black) He is a master at playing the race card. He shakes down corporations for money, after threatening to call them racists. They cough up the cash, and Jesse gets rich. Morris Powell, associate of sharpton- "We're going to see that this cracker suffers." (re: Freddies fashion Mart.) When a Hasidic Jew acidentally hit and killed a 7 yr. old Black child with his car, Sharpton again stirred up the crowd into rioting, Crown Heights, and in one case, murder. You need to look up this stuff on the internet- it's all there in detail. And Jesse, how about when he called Jews "hymies" and referred to New York City as "Hymietown", to the Washington Post's Milton Coleman, and claimed a Jewish conspiracy was keeping him from getting elected.(This was back in '84.) Sharpton and Jackson are known for their racist comments. ANd let's not forget Tawana Brawley. Neither have ever apologized for their racist comments. www.NBRA.info - 2 years ago

"No such thing as a racist member of the minority"? Yeah, sure. Keep smokin' that reefer. Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Kweisi Mfume, need I go on? Al Sharpton is an anti-semite, as is Jesse Jackson- both love using stereotypes and epithets to describe Jews. You need to crawl out from underneath your rock more often, ebruce. But then again, "ignorance is bliss."

unclecharlie - The people you mention are not racist, by definition, genius. They are BIGOTS, they have a mindset of PREJUDICE, but they are NOT racists. DO YOU GET IT NOW? Probably not, probably never will, but that's alright.
Secondly, BRAVO on being dumb enough to think any of these "figures" you mentioned represent any type of voice for ANY minorities in America. Just because they live as camera-hogging, opportunistic attention whores hell bent on personal financial gain doesn't mean a damn thing to the rest of us with the ability to think for ourselves.
I've read enough of your intolerant, whiny posts on this site to gag a maggot, and therefore strongly suggest you go back to youtube with the rest of the sinking ship GOP crew so you can all mourn GW's awesome "career" together. He did an absolute bang-up job, eh?
You are a dinosaur and your time is over...now run back to your trailer, stock up on ammo, bury your guns in the field, and hide in fear waiting for the "coloreds " to take all your jobs and virtuous white women. LOL

The Franciscan University of Steubenville???? LMFAO are you effing kidding me? How does one gain admission into such an illustrious institution of higher learning? Did you apply online? ha ha . Ignorance TRULY knows no bounds. I actually feel sorry for you at this point.
