    • I think Obama might have entertained ideas about being a good President at some stage, but anyone in the murky world of politics knows that the President of the United States of America does not get to run the country..................................it is run by oil companies and big gun manufacturers. War makes them rich....they want war. It makes the taxpayers poor, but they don't care.
      I had hoped that things would get better.....but I'm an optimist, and I hoped against my better judgement alas.
      The voters have no choice....more and more we are all two party states (I'm in Ireland) and increasingly the difference between the parties is narrowing. They 9the elite) give us two parties to choose from and we are allowed to boot out one and replace it with another.......Wish we could just effect COMPLETE CHANGE.

    • it's fascinating how radically different the left and right's perspective is on the current situation. Liberals are still worshipping the president and his actions and the right is freaking out like hes the anti-christ bringing on 'obamageddon'. to me he's neither, a guy who bit off more than he could chew and finds himself at the whim of the winds of those surrounding and above him, and taken all the heat and praise. Wonder what that can do to a guy, outside the frame of the television screen.

    • This is ridiculous. Stop blaming Bush, this is now Obama's problem and deficit. Obama has created this extremely deep recession with the unbelievable spending that has occured. Healthcare reform, thats crazy it doesnt even work in a strong economy. Obama's so called climate bill (to me known as TAXING BILL) there goes 2 million jobs to China and India. Even the possibility of a second stimulus when the first one did not work. We must look at history to solve problems. Look at Japan's lost era when they fell into this type of recession yrs ago. They tried to pump stimulus into the economy and it just did not work, same here.

      Stop blaming Bush? You MUST be joking. I am still seeing the occasional allegation that our economic problems are CLINTON's fault, for crying out loud.

      ...and how in the Hell does the economy become the problem of one man -- even if that man has the highest political office in the country? He is not a King. The economy is not even the Federal Government's problem. The problem belongs to ALL of us (lucky us).

      Do you even realize that half of the conservative nut jobs who post on this site actually think that the stimulus package was enacted by Obama? They cannot grasp that the law was enacted the same way every other federal statute is enacted.

      The bill was drafted and sponsored by one or more members of Congress and presented to committee. It was modified and amended in both houses and the differences were reconciled ... all while it was still before Congress. Congress then voted on the final draft. Obama simply signed it into law. Yet it has somehow become OBAMA's stimulus package.

      Actually this last bunch of economic devastation was put in action by the majority in Congress. And for the last 2 1/2 years that's been the democrats. Yes, some of the moderates on the conservative side voted for it.
      Bush was a wild spender, 'nough said: but President Obama is Bush on steroids.
      This country was headed in the wrong financial direction before this debacle, but it could have been stopped.
      Now it's a runaway train.
      I feel bad for the younger generation. Unless they are very cunning things aren't good for them.The only good thing for them will be health care because they won't really need it so they'll get it cheap!

      I checked out your link because, like you, I do reasearch. I also notices that half of the people offering comments to the link you provided thought that the guy who wrote the article was way off. At best it was 50/50 split on opinions about the article. I don't know, because i never looked at that web site before, what the majority of his readers think but I can tell you that if that story is any indication of his readers, they don't have much respect for him. Ed Champion is a liberal from San Freaksisco and has an obvious liberal bias when reporting. His story did not seem to get near as much support from his readers as one would have thought. People who go to www.infowars.com or other such sights do so because they believe what he says, people who go to eds rant site seem to do it to ridicule him not a very good following I would say. His opinion on Celentes is not ever close to the majority. But like some his posters said....OK G.C. is wrong about his predictions, we are enjoying high stock values, our home prices have gone up, and there is nothing what so ever to worry about when it comes to our economy, our jobs or our future. Carry on with business as usual.

    • The Arabs will buy up more and more of American land. Soon they will demand a Sharia state. There will be riots and separatist movements like in Phillipnes, China, France, Spain, and Israel. Obama's Muslim masters and dhimmi jesters (like Wright) will soon be calling in their debts. But doesn't America deserve this? I mean, supposedly he was voted in to office (at least by blacks). Although I do not like it when the wife drags me to a mall, and it doesn't happen often because we live some 40 miles from the closest one, I can't go as far as to say I hate the mall.
