    • President Obama could be king of compassion too by pardoning Eddy Lepp. If George W. could commute the sentence of Scooter Libby, President Obama could commute the sentence of Eddy Lepp.

The facts are on the side of cannabis legalization, it's time for our laws to catch up with the facts.

    • Unbelievable! 10yrs? I use grass medicinally here in Scotland, my joints dislocate from their sockets. Here the drug has been reclassified from C class (like sleeping tablets) to B class (like amphetamine), creating a lot of confusion, however I have never heard of anyone growing it recieving jail sentences like 10yrs. Criminals who convert full houses into gardens, receive thousands of pounds in profit, get off with warnings or fines. Ridiculous! Maijuana is a plant, an unmeddled with natural remedy!

    • Interesting documentary.

I think there are many people who now agree that the use of MJ and THC as a medicinal substance is increasing, and the goverment systems still do not allow for people to make their own choices over what 'medicine' they choose. They ignore the statistics (coming from the Netherlands year on year) that disprove their prophesies of a 'drugged-up-youth' and 'psychosis time bomb' .

They are suspicious of the effects on de-criminalisation on society they would say, however the result of having substances in the control of organised crime is far worse than this: gun running, prostitution, human trafficing etc. All these things are interconnected, as the money that feeds that black market is the one that comes from drugs.

So, who would you prefer to throw in Jail? A man trying to help others who have chosen to use MJ/THC, or a government who continually ignores the destructive effects of prohibition on society?

Some things do not add-up in this world, and this is such as case.

See this website if you want more information on Drug Law reform (UK-based, but a trail-blazing group), I found it very informative: http://www.tdpf.org.uk/
