Instead of following the advise of the up and coming Megan McCain or electing the centrist twenty-ish Rachel Hoff the Young Republicans got together - so to speak, and elected the racist, pushin' forty Audra Shay. Using tactics reminiscent of the standard operating procedure from back in the day. Shay launched a last minute smear campaign including criticizing her opponents style of dress or rather the lack of wearing dresses in lieu of pant suits. Casting the horrifying possibility Ms Hoff may have lesbian tendencies. The tactics had there usual effect in splintering the electorate down the middle and creating a divisive atmosphere. Apparently learning nothing from the past the GOP is destined to repeat the very same mistakes that preceded it's decline. Alienating the LGBT, Hispanic and African American communities along with basic decent folks will prove to be the ultimate demise of the GOP. Unfortunately they fail to recognize this and continue to promote the status quo amongst their ranks.More on the elections of Grand Wizard Audra Shay;
