“I understand and empathize with the advocates for allowing medical marijuana use in New Hampshire,” said the Governor. “However, the fact remains that marijuana use for any purpose remains illegal under federal law.”
Let’s not forget that back in February U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, went public and said that DEA raids would no longer continue, and that an end to such raids, according to Holder, was “now U.S. policy.” Seems like Governor John Lynch is confused or maybe he’s just making excuses.

It's time for the states to put pressure on Uncle Sam (The Federal Government) After 10 states say it's OK to use for medical purposes, that is a signal for the feds and the rest of the states to follow suit.
Plants should not be illegal.

Making excuses is EXACTLY what he's doing. 13 states, unless there's been another one lately, have already done this. While Federal law may supersede State law, the fact is this should be a state problem. Those very same regulations he's claiming prevent him from going along didn't prevent those other states, now did it?
N.H. needs to put it through again and override his veto. This is a governor that's afraid to stand up for his citizens. He deserves to lose his next election. Make is so.
