I was recently told by a doctor type that when you smoke weed, your body only stores 10% of the calories you eat, so along with the pain relief, insomniac helping, glucaoma sorting etc. Cannabis could help the government reach those statistics on obesity?!?! Really!!!

Legalize it.
Personal growing is ok.
Pull in humongus revenue from taxes on selling in dispensories.
How about setting up a system for a liscence for large scale growing.
Encourage an entire new sector in economic growth.
Not to mention increased overall happiness, well-being and consumption ie munchies

Why are the people for prohibition sided with the Drug Lords? Are they partners in crime? They both are for stiffer penalties in order to jack up the drug prices....

I disagree with you Panzer. It WILL happen. In just the last couple of years cannabis has moved from the closet to the talk shows. People are talking about it. Politicians are talking about it. States are taking the unusual step of going against federal law and voting medical marijuana legal anyway. 13 have done this already, with another handful that have pending legislation. That's ONE QUARTER of the country.

When it will happen is anybody's guess. But the thing is moving. It's the only good thing to come out of our financial woes. And the nation will be better for it. The drug was is a real war; we're just not shooting at each other. But we have victims, and we have prisoners, and we have an underground.

The prohibition is causing the problem, not correcting it. As a nation we've got bigger fish to fry. It's about time we got this stupid crap out of the way.

If marijuana becomes legal, people will be happier, healthier, and there will be less crime. Prisons will be much less crowded, drug cartels will lose money and support, and the economy will get a boost. Farmers can grow it, retailers can sell it, the gov can tax it, and finally the people can smoke it without fear. Prohibition only works to make a substance illegal. It does not stop the demand, and therefore the criminal element steps in with the supply to make the profit. Make the world a better place, free the weed!!!
