Akron police investigate black teen mob attack on family

Akron police say they aren't ready to call it a hate crime or a gang initiation.

But to Marty Marshall, his wife and two kids, it seems pretty clear.

It came after a family night of celebrating America and freedom with a fireworks show at Firestone Stadium. Marshall, his family and two friends were gathered outside a friend's home in South Akron.

Out of nowhere, the six were attacked by dozens of teenage boys, who shouted ''This is our world'' and ''This is a black world'' as they confronted Marshall and his family.

    • Well, it can't be considered a "hate crime". You see, the perpetrators were Black males. They are considered a minority group. When a minority commits a crime against a non minority, it's "Nope, no crime committed." When a non minority commits a crime against a minority, all hell breaks loose. That is why "hate crime" is a rotten concept- a liberal pipedream.. ALL crimes are hate crimes- they certainly aren't done out of love!

    • That is crazy. I would have just shot them. Even though this is a definately a hate crime, I doubt they will label it as one.

Well, let me introduce you to my friend Jesse Jackson- he is in cahoots with Al Sharpton, dontcha know! Or how about Maxine Waters, or even Maya Angelou, who sees ALL white folks as racists- (and no, I don't wanna know "Why the Caged Bird Sings!")
