Born in the bush, raised in the bush, these children have not known peace. In Northern Uganda over 65,000 Acholi children have been abducted from their homes and forced to fight in the rebel ranks of the Lord’s Resistance Army. For 20 years the perpetual war has gone unnoticed by the international community and has resulted in a mass genocide of the Acholi people. An entire generation of children have been born and raised in conflict and have never known peace. This is the story of three young people who were abducted by the rebels and have lived to share their experiences.
