Birth rates among U.S. teens increased in 2006 and 2007, following large declines from 1991 to 2005, according to a new U.S. government study.

It found that previously improving trends in teens' and young adults' sexual and reproductive health have flattened or may be worsening in some cases.

    • Does this slight increase matter? Let us give it a few more years to see if the trend continues or if is just a natural cycle with the moon that increases desire.

    • Teens are going to have sex regardless of obstacles.....
they need to know there are a hellova lot of stuff to do before doing it through vaginal intercourse.......

I remember having a lot of kinky sex besides "straight up fucking the pussy"......... I had about close to four years experimenting with sex before I "officially" penetrated a girl vaginally with my you-know-what (at 18 yrs old).
(3 girls mind you, within those years.. I'm not a playa)

    • What surprises me is that some kids actually get married . Like in their lives , they have seen many shinning examples of it working out so well ....

are you kidding me? With the average marriage age quickly passing 28 years, you expect the general population to remain abstinent until they are married? This is an absurd requirement and highly unreasonable. Not to mention, how do you expect sex to only be honored in marriage when same sex marriages are not allowed.

It is this type of thought that has created the increasing problem. Instead of talking about birth control or forms of protection, we advocate abstinence, which does not work by itself.
