COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Burglars who broke into the Texas A&M football complex stole some athletic items and left behind a rival's message.
KBTX-TV reports athletic tape was used to write the words "The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You" on the carpet of the locker room.

The tune by that name is a tradition of the University of Texas.

Associate athletic director Alan Cannon says some football equipment was stolen. The extent of the losses was under investigation.

Texas A&M's police believe the break-in at the Bright Football Complex happened Monday night. So far no arrests.

The complex includes the Aggie locker room, athletic training room, rehabilitation complex, meeting rooms, coaches offices and a lounge.
