Former boxing champion Vernon Forrest was shot and killed during an attempted carjacking in Atlanta Saturday night.

    • l knew Vernon personally. I'm devastated and sadden by this senseless act of violence that has taken the life of a real good man. Not only was Vernon a World Champion, but he did not drink or do drugs,and he had a 501c3 that helped the challenged people.

      God, I'm going to miss him.
