Rape Shield Laws do not allow a defendant to introduce the prior sexual conduct of the complainant. Thus, Rape Shield Laws that are intended to encourage more woment o come forward and testify have simply made it easier to falsely accuse and convict an innocent man. The testimony of any other woman who says a man has assaulted her is admissible in court, without evidence or corrobroation and whether she has ever reported the alleged crime to anyone or not.
Rape Trauma Syndrome is a name used in court to prove that a woman has been traumatized by rape, but is a term used to help convict men unfairly. If a woman immediately reports a rape, that is consistent with Rape Trauma Syndrome. If she waits months to report it, that behavior is also consistent with Rape Trauma Syndrome. If she cries, that signals Rape Trauma Syndrome. If she doesn't cry, that also signals Rape Trauma Syndrome. In short, the term, which is not a true diagnosis but a set of emotional responses, is used to the advantage of the accuser.
"To my considerable chagrin, we found that at least 60 percent of all the rape allegations were false." --Dr. Charles P. McDowell, Supervisory Special Agent, U.S. Air Force, Office of Special Investigations.

it has been found unconstitutional for shelters to discriminate....... Some of these shelters even refuse to allow young boys in if they are over 12 because they are seen as a "risk".....

it's funny you mention the funding projects... when the whole thing went down I was given information on domestic violence and local asistance programs only to find that there are no mens shelters here in boise, but there are quite a few womens and childrens shelters (who do not cater to nor allow men)... also there is only one 'mens home' that is there to help men get back on their feet... however it's only a halfway house for perolees. this, I think, demonstrates a clear bias for women.

kiltedandfree, When our judicial system encourage false accusation there will be many who will take advantage of the situation. Did you know that foreign brides have been easily gaining legal residence, thousands of dollars in assistance, housing, schooling, and more just as soon as she claims domestic violence? In fact there is absolutely no need for evidence and in some states she does not even need to testify in the court. Domestic violence and rape charges do not follow “innocent until proven guilty” in a court of law. There is an matchmaking organization that was recently on the news that was very successful at matching American men with foreign brides and coached new wives on how to clam abuse and get the process rolling. There are women who are manipulative and vindictive and there are women who have a need to be viewed as victims. In our society just about everyone is a victim of something... I encourage you to read the cases I posted earlier to fully understand the issues. These are very serious issues that do not get media attention for fear to be viewed as anti-women. Please notice what wins the public support: “women issues”, “tough on crime”, “gender equality”. In reality gender equality is only with respect to women, what about the equality for men? What about men’s issues? What about our boys who do not get the same benefits in education as girls? I can go on and give examples of these as well.
The bottom line is the media and many government policies have created this view of American men as rapists, violent, aggressive, abusive, bad fathers, and stupid. American women on the other hand are presented as smart and always smarter then men, gentle, great mothers, victims, always abused, repressed, can do everything men can and better. This is simply not so. Men are in the disadvantaged position that women where 50 years ago. - 2 years ago

kiltedandfree implies that pretty much every woman out there has been raped. Sorry, but I don't believe that. You say every woman you dated has her own "rape story". Where exactly are these rapes taking place? Who is committing them? How in the world does every woman get raped, unless the majority of men are rapists? You easily shrug off the statistics in this video, and yet cite your own statistic of nearly "100%" of women getting raped. Your evidence? Stories told to you by your ex-girlfriends. If falsifying rape claims has occurred in the past, and evidence points out that it most certainly has, what makes you think your ex-girlfriends are inherently more genuine? If a jury can be fooled, then certainly so can a sympathetic boyfriend.
Sorry, but if it's true that just about every woman gets raped, we might as well just kill off all mankind and call it quits.

Mother, no one says it doesn't happen, but I seriously doubt the stats this video quoted. Yes, you can find cases where the woman has falsely accused some poor guy, but how many women can you find that have been raped at some time in their lives? Do you know that most, if not all, women have a rape story of their own? Lets say 10% of the women out use rape accusations but not 60%. Maybe that stat is growing, but I'd say there is a lot of anger and hatred by women for videos like this and men who are unfeeling when it comes to what a woman has to put up with. When I was dating, I found every woman I dated had their own rape story. And I think that was around 50 or so women that I knew who had been raped at some time. If I find 100% in the women I knew, how does that translate to the world at large? I'd say pretty close. Women have been raped by drunken cretins or their father, uncle or brother and they have to put up with date rape and date rape drugs that some guys think is funny to use. Then as it used to be, women were thought of as "wanting it" when in court. They had to endure a second rape in court. Often women are questioned about what they wore, as tho what a woman wears asks for rape. No one asks to be raped. To even attempt to use these stats to try to make people believe that 50 to 60% of women use rape accusations to get even is appalling and would only be used by cretin males who think women like it rough.

This article is biased, of course, and it seems to be so easy for some men to demonize women because of some deep hatred toward women. I'd bet every woman who listens to the video will be so angry and hurt by this. I seriously doubt the stats on 50 to 60% falsely accuse men of rape.

dariusvons, unfortunately this is very common a woman is violent and even hits a man but police arrests the man and DA pursues the charges. This is called Primary Aggressor Doctrine in DV Arrests. Please also educate yourself with VAWA (violence against women act) laws you will be surprised what you learn. A foreign woman can marry an American man, move in to his house then call police and claim domestic abuse. She becomes permanent legal resident and a free house. The duped man can is served with the Protection From Abuse order and can not return to his home.
The attorney fees can easily run $100k and cases are even $350k. What if this man runs out of money? - 2 years ago

in december my recent ex-GF broke into my home and trashed the place. I came home to find her slamming my laptop on the floor and all my books thrown around the room, my gem and crystal collection destroyed and scattered, my houseplants torn apart, the my paintings shredded... I tackled her down and dragged her (kicking punching and screaming) out of my house then I called the cops. they arrested and charged her with breaking and entering, battery, and malicious destruction to property. they also charged ME with battery for draggin her out of my house. most of the charges against her were dismissed in court (only tried for destruction to property), but I'm still fighting this legal battle. even with her testomony saying that I was defending myself and had done nothing wrong,
the STATE is still insisting on charging me with battery. I've been to court five times and they keep draggin it out to avoid a jury trial because they know the jury will be sympathetic to me, and since her testomony is for and not against me. Idaho sucks, they're trying to make me a crimial but cant put us (me or her) in front of a jury because it will show the states corruption. it's the state that is wrong here, not the 'victim'.and regardless of innocence or guilt I'm still forced to spend tons of money and lots of time simply jumping through their hoops. so either way I loose. and for them (cop, judges, prosecutors) its just another day at the office.
