Media news are by their nature deceptive. They tend to speak only of certain crimes and ignoring others, without logical reasons. In reality there is always a reason, only that we don't always understand it. Some crimes are ignored for political reasons, while others receive disproportionate attention for the same reason, especially in Italy. Some are ignored simply because that particular day, the media are working on something else.
