    • too late for you stonerboy.“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

    • Yeah...it's now thought that climate change will happen way quicker than our original worse case scenarios -- and that it's irreversible at this point -- no matter what we do. In short: We're already screwed! Thanks George W.

    • ARRRG... REPOST!!! This is at least the third one... I am an advocate for learning more about what you are looking at. Go to the website an find the pic and read the blue box at the bottom. It talks about how those sections of ice form every year in the winter and melt every summer, and the pics are helping scientists discover why some years they melt sooner, and some years stay longer... I am not on either side, but learning more helps put these pics in perspective.

    • What else is new. Bush was a disaster for this country on every imaginable level. He will go down as one of the worst if not the worst president in American history.

    • Global warming isn't so much an epidemic as it is a pattern. Does anyone else wonder why even children are taught about how the glaciers once covered miles upon miles our the Earth to later recede back North and/or South? The Little Ice Age ring a bell? Let's get serious here a Planetary trend really gets you so upset? Are there not clear paths that are still noticeable from the dragging of the glaciers?

Then I guess people shouldn't have used all that Aqua-Net back in the 80's and stop setting their thermostat to 60 during the summer.

The Earth has been here for Billions of years before us and will some how managed to recover after our impact isn't noticeable Billions of years later. Are the "Go Greeners" that arrogant to think that we are capable of saving something so much greater than we its like saying an ant is going to do CPR on you...

    • and before we get into a "don't drink the koolaid" hissy fit try and remember that obama isn't just waving his arms around, the majority of the scientific community asserts some degree of global warming is taking place.
