Do editors have a good conscious about this?
Can editors and journalists really wake up in the morning and look in the mirror knowing that they ignore some of the worst atrocities happening to children-right under their noses?
While they KNOW what is happening? Where are their ethics?
here is the story from the United Nations:
Just one month before the start of the academic year in Gaza, the education of thousands of school students is being jeopardized by the ongoing blockade of crossings into the area, a chorus of United Nations voices warned today in an urgent call for Israel to open the borders.
The 18 schools that were completely destroyed and the 280 others that were damaged in the Israeli military offensive six months ago have not been rebuilt or rehabilitated because of restrictions placed on the movement of reconstruction materials and other supplies into Gaza, according to a joint news release issued by various UN agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
In north Gaza, 9,000 students from 15 damaged schools have been spread among 73 schools in the same area, with 4,000 of them squeezed into two schools, and some 1,200 secondary students running the risk of being left without a school next month.
“The blockade has caused untold suffering to children in Gaza, who face another academic year in terrible conditions,” said Philippe Lazzarini, acting UN Humanitarian Coordinator of the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) in the joint statement.

These Children need an education , and they should have the right to be able to go back to school . rebuild all the schools that were damaged by Israel. I honestly think that the Israeli military should be the ones that go in and build what they destroyed. and so should the American Military, since they provided weapons to help Israel do all the damage that was done

how come the egyptians wont open thier border either? why dont we hear any of the 57 other muslum nations crying out for help for these kids. why do those who support the palastinians only do so with military ordinance and not humanitarian aide. the palastinians are truly being victimized but using israel as the patsy assures they will never end thier subjugation.out of all the countries in the region more palastinians enjoy freedom and civil liberties then any where else. hamas and fatah only support ,militaristic endevours not humanitarian ones egypt doesnt allow them in and jordan just revoked the citizenship of all palastinians in thier country. for the sake of these people stop the anti-semetic jew hating rhetoric and focus on thier actual plight

how can you expect human beings driven by compasion to want to help these kids when the article about them focuses more on talking shit about israel than the needs of the kids? making this story partisan politicizes the issue and makes people reluctant to support it for fear of financing an extremist agenda. do you wish to help the palastinians for real or is this just the easiest way to spread anti-semetism? does johm mearsheimers interpritation of the israeli palastinian conflict do anything to speak on bahalf of these kids? does decoding "israels lies" show the need for rebuilding in gaza or does it just feed the hate machine? ever notice the red cross asks for support by showing how desperately its needed without focusing on laying blame. thats how charity works this is the highjacking the needs of victims for a personal agenda
