    • CHAN, one mistake I think you are making here is assuming that women are not considering all their options before having an abortion. I'm sure there are people who don't, but in my experience the majority of women who get an abortion absolutley "seriously think" before they do.

Now, you talk about killing life- but we kill life all the time. Every step you take kills a million bacteria. Every time you scratch your arm you take a million skin cells with you. That's destruction of life.

Clearly we are talking about HUMAN life that you are against killing, since standing up for every cell that dies would be quite tiresome. The problem is that there is no definitive point in a fetus's development where we say "NOW it's a human." For a very long time that fetus is just a bundle of cells, no different from any other cells in your body that you don't think twice about murdering. Most abortions take place in the early stages of development- they are not "just another human that can breathe"- those cells have the ability to literally become anything.

You must have a specific point in which you think that those cells become "human", or perhaps you think that human life begins at conception, but really that is your personal opinion and nothing more.

This article keeps calling women "abortion victims"- but reproducing is a choice. No one is victimized (unless we are talking about some extraneous circumstance) and every SINGLE "fact" this website promotes is HIGHLY debatable.

In fact, the American Psychological Association put out a report last year in which they found "There is no credible evidence that a single elective abortion of an unwanted pregnancy in and of itself causes mental health problems for adult women." I have to commend you for retorting to "pro-life" with facts, logic and reason. Most people, myself included, get really upset and worked-up in arguments over abortion. That phrase, 'But you're killing a human being' gets me going ever time.

    • "" = ""

Hm, and that other link, not so good....

Abortion is anyone who wants it.

That being said, we shouldn't tell people how to do certain things, like watching diets, or religious practices....Its what keeping us apart....

      Voted down for irrelevance...

    • Actually I just read this a little more carefully - is this satire? It seems to be mocking the people who claim abortion leads to suicide. I mean, what does "65% of abortion victim will always prone to commit suicide" even mean?

Hm, this blog post was written on April 1, 2008...coincidence?

    • Shame on anyone who spreads such disinformation to dissuade young women from making their own decisions about their health and their lives. This data is just false. There's no such thing as the "Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the United States." In fact, if you google for that (with quotes around it to match the exact phrase), this article is the only thing that comes up.

    • Check out the article, it is crazy stupid!

The post is a ridiculous joke, an attempt at the worst sort of propaganda, written by someone who has no business writing any thing.

This is evidence for the ignorance and stupidity of the pro-fetus crowd.
