The death of italian judiciary

They called it a war between prosecutors and did everything to make sure that the public didn't understand anything. In large part they succeeded, because how many Italians now know exactly what happened to the magistrate Luigi De Magistris, recently elected MEP for IDV, and the Prosecutor of Salerno Luigi Apicella? A few, probably very few. Power of the smokescreen that the Italian politics raises when it feels in danger, of course with the complicity of newspapers and televisions.

    • Hey, I had relatives that lived there back in the 70's. It was headed for communism then. The communist Party was taking over. If you had closets in your home they taxed you for another room for each one. If you had a radio in your car you paid a tax on that. A stereo in your car, another tax....
When did the communist party give up, or did?

Well the communist party never was in italian governments.. but more than communism the abuse of taxes in Italy was and is a problem of bureaucracy and overwhelming tax evasion.
The problem now is that we haven't an opposition of any kind and Berlusconi's government isn't really libertarian or conservative, it's just a tool for him and his corporations. Back in the '70 Berlusconi was a socialist. He hasn't really a political idea, he just want to save himself from prison on the charge of corruption (Mills trial).

    • What is happening in Italy is more than outrageous, simply incredible. It's fascism return, no more democracy and free press.
