Tour de France Stage Winner Is Barred After Test for EPO

AIGLE, Switzerland (AP) — The Tour de France stage winner Mikel Astarloza was suspended Friday by the International Cycling Union for doping before this year’s Tour.

Also Friday, the union barred the Italian rider Riccardo Ricco for two years for doping at the 2008 Tour de France.
