Fall River Now...Architecture & History

GeoBat
Fall River, Massachusetts has the what is arguably the coolest collection of mill and Victorian architecture in the USA. Wealth came during the rise of the textile industry, which was later lost. Known as a gritty city, it has now fallen on hard times. But guess what, few cities anywhere sit in a sea of potential energy, like Fall River. This City is about to wake up. In these videos you will get a sense of why the city was once prosperous, and why it is poised to set the pace for green business development in the years just ahead. Check it out.

    • oh boy Daemonkity... guess you're not from Fall River are you? I love the fact that someone at least made the attempt to try to put something together, yeah maybe the piece needs a little tweaking but the stills capture what this city is all about, beauty!

    • Oh boy. If this is supposed to be selling Fall River to tourists, they are in for a world of disappointment. Who wrote up this crap filled script and edited the carefully close-in shots of sporadic architecture? It's like having a shot of some beautiful eyes only to pull back the camera to see a toothless wart-covered leper. You want nice, traditional New England architecture try Boston, Providence, or even (the next to Fall River city of) New Bedford.
