Gaza, August 1, 2009 (Pal Telegraph)- The day before yesterday the solidarity brigade departed towards Tel Aviv airport and yesterday in the morning, after being detained and interrogated for several hours, the 2 activists were deported to the Spanish state.

It's not the first time that Israel harass the solidarity brigades, it's usual not allowing access to Gaza Strip and also two years ago Israel has stolen the cameras, CDs, MP3s and other kind of material of the activists during the interrogations at the airport when they were leaving towards the Basque Country.

Participate in a solidarity brigade is a very special experience, many times means the spark that takes out of lethargy the internationalist feeling. For sure the two solidarity activists are very disappointed but Israel is mistaken with this kind of police measures. On one side, although it has managed to "hide" from this two persons the reality of the situation in Palestine, thanks to the excellent work and struggle of the Palestinians, the Israeli oppression and agressions are more than evident, and on the other hand this kind of measures the only thing that achieve is multiply the willing of the activists and Askapena to work in internationalist solidarity
