Ethnic Cleansing in Israel: International anger over eviction of Palestinian families in Jerusalem

Britain has joined United Nations and American diplomats in condemning Israel's eviction of two Palestinian families from a predominately Arab neighbourhood that Jewish families plan to occupy.

The British Consulate which is located in Sheikh Jarrah, the same neighborhood near Jerusalem's Old City where the evictions took place, released a statement that said officials were "appalled" by the action.

"These actions are incompatible with the Israeli professed desire for peace," the statement said. "We urge Israel not to allow the extremists to set the agenda."

More countries are stepping up to the plate to denounce and condemn Israel for what some say is an ethnic cleansing in order to gain control over the city of Jerusalem.

    • but in the fight for the rights of palastinians you overlooked that jordan just revoked the citizenship of all palastinians in that country wich means that the big evil israeli govt gives citizenship and civil liberties to more palastinians than jordan (a muslim/arab state). keep attacking israel as has always been done to further garuntee the palastinians will never get a fair chance at having thier voices be heard and the needs recognized.

      exactly! And how can they say that since in the Bible it says the Jews will roam the Earth until Jesus comes again! Furthermore, I cannot comprehend that people calling themselves the chosen would treat other people this way.

    • Some more Ethnic Cleansing. The world now has the responsibility to stand up to these monsters, these swine to end this horrible nighmare of humanity. We are ALL HUMANS and for these swine to do this to other humans is despicable to say the least.
