Ian Tomlinson died during the G20 in London this year from bleeding in his stomach after being assaulted by a police officer. The IPCC has handed has completed its inquiry and handed a file to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The police had been lying from the onset, in a way I would feel sorry if the officer gets convicted. After all, he was only doing what most of the police force was doing that day: beating up peaceful people on the streets. But then, no officer ever got convicted of manslaughter while executing his or her duty, so there's no reason to worry.

An innocent man is surely dead. We shouldn't dignify the bastards calling them policemen. Rather, my personal thanks to the Crown for putting only their best SOBs on the job. The protesters should have jammed that "G20" bullshit right back up their asses. There should have been more than just this man's blood on the streets for the authoritarianism of today's so-called "free" and "democratic" governments.
