Fifty percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Wednesday morning say they support the president's plans, with 45 percent opposed.
"Obama's plan is most popular among younger Americans and least popular among senior citizens," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. "A majority of Americans over the age of 50 oppose Obama's plan; a majority of those under 50 support it."
That's funny though, old people need it the most!

The more I flesh out my political and religious viewpoints, they more they seem to be diametrically opposed to the generation before my parents'.

Exactly - In my experience, the elderly are less likely to go research something they've been told - they're more likely to take it as fact, since they are from a more trusting generation. If they really UNDERSTOOD the facts about Obama's health care reform plan, I think the elderly would be it's biggest supporters.

It's probably a little less popular with the older crowd because of the "kill granny" scare and the idea that our system would ration health care.
