Conservatives Are America's Real Terrorists: Conservatives and Fascism

See The European (New York) Times!!!...They refuse to use the word, so there are no terrorists, only freedom fighters and groups of righteously angered citizens. So, i will use their definition for myself too.

I am a Conservative fighter who despises the falseness of fundamentalist fakers who strut around in self righteousness yelling "Bush" as if that name is already a curse word. Screw them all. They love the Muslim radical murderers and the way Europe is being overtaken piece by piece by fundamentalists who pose as the poor, innocent, starving, wounded Muslim victims. Then those same fakers fill their new host countries and multiply like the vermin they are.

So yes, of course I am a conservative who will not stand around while my country is brought down by a Muslim president who doesn't have the guts to say that he is a Muslim. There are not millions of us. There are tens of millions of us who speak openly and there are tens of millions of others like us, just sitting and waiting to reclaim this country from the destroyer and hater.

We are all itching for 2012, when he will be embarrassingly defeated in shame and derision, just like he tried to do to Mr. George Bush. Like the Jews say, "Never again" and "We will not forget."

@plusaf, I am not blaming the Oil Companies for the entire housing bubble and the wild fluctuations in home prices, but you must admit that the fact that while the frenzy of home buying was occurring they were raising prices, even though demand or storage surpluses was not a factor.

So many of the local trades here in Oregon were complaining about the rise in energy costs; both petroleum and electricity contributing in them having to raise prices and/or start charging surcharges. My clients here in Oregon are Architects, Engineers, and Developers and they all blamed the rise in energy costs for the escalation in home building prices.

I still think that if the homes could have been built for the costs we were building at back in 2005 and 2006, there would have been a reasonable inventory of new homes that would have been affordable. The other piece of the problem was obviously the sub-prime mortgages that were being offered. I believe in TAANSTAFL and I was leery of those mortgages when we were refinancing back in 2005 and 2006. I kept pushing to go with fixed rate loans, or those 10/20 loans that you pay interest only for 10 years and then a fully amortized payment for the next twenty.

At that time you could get rates around 6% or even 5.75% which was really reasonable.

@ Plusaf, you might also add that if the Oil Companies had not gouged us causing all the prices of building materials and services to rise, those homes wouldn't have become so unaffordable.

Before the bubble, I saw homes in my area that were in the $120K to $170K range climb and climb until those same homes were priced at $300K to $350K....ridiculous.

Brand new homes being built were being priced in the mid to upper $300K's. And some were even being priced in the $400K to $500K range.

You would laugh at this one. Just down the street from me they completed a condo development that they were billing in advertisements as Urban Chic. The Studio sized 700SF condos were priced at $300K while the 850SF condos were priced at $350K and the two bedroom condos with 950SF were being priced at $380K. They finished these condos almost one year ago. Not one has sold. They sit empty. Jennings Company that built them, had to go through bankruptcy reorganization and get their construction loan modified. The latest news is that they are repricing them down into the $200K's. These condos were called "the Farm".

Another development just a block away from the condos is a subdivision of land. I know that the land sold to the investors for $450K. They divided the land into 14 lots and brought in all the utility services. They had a big sign out front saying "Exclusive homes priced from $500K".

None of the lots sold, none. Now they are building the first spec house and the sign has been changed. It now says "Beautiful homes priced from $259K".

Here is my point. If homes were priced reasonably, at or below $100SF then there would be many affordable homes for people who are used to paying rent at around $800 to $1000 per month, who actually make three times or more than that per month. But when homes are priced at $200 to $300 per SF then that is where those same people get into trouble. They can't afford payments that are going to be around $1800 to $2200 per month. Not on $4500 of income per month. So even though the gesture was nice and the warm fuzzies of everyone owning a home was a great idea, to me, the fact that the Oil Companies decided to gouge America while that was going on was driving the prices of houses up and up and up; along with the greed from developers and builders attempting to cash in on the cash fest.

By calling Republicans names, they think that will prove their case. Facts would be more effective than high school name calling. So, here are some facts. The Obama administration is trying to do a number of things, and some have already been done...They want to ....
Make the CIA into a villain. Question the FBI's tactics and water down their power. Close down Guantanimo. Free terrorists. Demonize waterboarding. Stop the National Guard. Take over the banks. Nationalize the auto industry. Take part ownership in large corporations. Oppose friends. Apologize to enemies. Bend over backwards to those who hate us. Threaten talk radio. Ask Americans to report "fishy" speaking. Send in union thugs to shut up the elderly. Indirectly tell seniors that it wouldn't pay to support them if they get devastating illnesses. Tax the next three generations, for the money that was thrown around to pay back corporations who gave large pre election donations.

Next, is shove the Obama health plan down the American throat and ignore 68% of the public...that's even more than the percentage that voted Mr. Obama in.
So, call him "president" because of a large majority. Then, ignore an even larger majority and force healthcare on them.

@ kenny, just as it was within the constitutional rights for americans to protest a war, it is within the rights for anyone to protest their belief that the Health care system is bad for america. you of all people should allow them to voice their opinion. As Hillary has said "it is not unpatratiotic to question our government..it is our duty"
