David Anthony Durham Wins the 2009 Campbell Award

The Campbell is awarded for Best New Writer at the World Science Fiction Convention (WorldCon) which took place this year in Montréal, Québec, Canada [http://www.anticipationsf.ca/].

This year's award goes to David Anthony Durham [http://www.davidanthonydurham.com], author of "Acacia: Book One: The War with the Mein," "Pride of Carthage: A Novel of Hannibal," "Gabriel's Story," and the upcoming "The Other Lands: Book Two of the Acacia Trilogy" due out September 15, 2009

The Hugo Award is also given out at WorldCon and the winners are:
