The USGS said the quake, initially reported as a magnitude 7.7, was 20.6 miles deep and was centered 160 miles north of Port Blair in the Andaman Islands.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami watch for the region.

The Alaska quakes hit then seemed to subside, then the energy underneath the ground moves around the globe to visit Asia. What if these subterranean energies decided to concentrate instead of equalizing around this way?
Planet Dirt has a grumbling stomach. Perhaps the name Krypton should be used now. Hmm, of course a planet breaking up isn't "the end of the world" because it could just be natural, not manmade at all, and we can adapt to living on two halves of our former planet.
