At the bottom it reads:
"Gay, a 40-year-old Asian elephant in Britain, was fitted with a pair of £500 slippers.
Gay has been suffering from painful abscesses on her front feet for the past few months so her keepers at Paignton Zoo in Devon decided to commission the footwear."
Poor Guy. Still, elephant slippers? Cool.
