i'll think twice next time i want to by legos (yea yea I'm 25, but i like toys)!
an ohio kid took the time to make a (cool) stop animation video for spinal tap's “tonight i’m gonna rock you tonight". the group liked it so much they showed it at a few of their concerts.
problem: spinal tap is putting together a dvd of their concerts. the kid's stop animation video was in a shot or 2 so lego said NOPE! "lego declined to grant permission to use its figures, which are protected by copyright." a lego rep went on saying how the dvd "had some inappropriate language, and the tone wasn’t appropriate for our target audience of kids 6 to 12."
