One More US Soldier Refuses to Fight Afghan War

I hope that more people can find the strength to do the same. I don't agree with a logistcal basis for refuting the war (it has/will cost too much), I think that is a self destructive mentality, but expressing one's mind at the threat of facing government oposition is comendable and courageous.

    • Wrong. We all can join a cause! Then have a realization or what some might call an "Epiphany" Does this then mean your still a Moron? You dont know the details of this persons recruitment and speaking from true experience recruiters use very decifitul tactics. So wanting to quit or stop fighting is not MORONIC is actually a NOBLE thing to do. Or shall we keep being sheep such as what this oath says? Its all about choice! What does Emperor Than do for a living? Do you kill people?

      I swear by God this sacred oath: That I shall render unconditional obedience to Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer of the German Reich and people, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and that I shall at all times be ready, as a brave soldier, to give my life for this oath.

    • As a lifelong pacifist I agree with his decision, BUT fuck this dude.

      The army's recruiting tactics are bullshit, but if you can't stand up and say "No" to an army recruiter if you're not army material then you're a moron. So fuck this guy.

      You joined, your own damn fault. You do what you're told, it's not your place at the bottom to make high ranking decisions about a war. And I have to agree with Admiral Cain's tactic in BSG for refusing and order. Cus you could put everything into jeopardy. What a dick.

    • you have to be super ballsy to be over there and refuse to fight. once you sign up they own you! and not doing what your military says can be hazzardess to your health
