"Death Panel" Rumor Has Familiar Roots

The same folks who destroyed President Clinton's attempt to reform health care 16 years ago are behind the fantastic rumors that have recently panicked people:
- The editorial board of The Washington Times
- The American Spectator Magazine
- Betsy McCaughey
These folks merit an extra special award for creating and disseminating some of the most ridiculous and vicious propaganda to come down the pike since the "Aktion T4 program of Nazi Germany in which 'children and adults with disabilities, and anyone anywhere in the Third Reich was subject to execution who was blind, deaf, senile, retarded, or had any significant neurological condition.'"
Lies are lies, and those who spread them are just common liars. Let's wipe them off the bottoms of our feet and move toward something valuable for a change.
