Israel questions Gaza war reports

The Israeli government appears to have launched a campaign to discredit human-rights groups in an effort to counter the mounting criticism over its conduct in the Gaza war.

Several rights organisations have condemned Israel's actions against Palestinian civilians during the December-January Gaza offensive, and have called for investigations into the Israeli military's conduct.

Now, the government is considering legislation to impose restrictions on fund-raising for such groups, in a move that could hinder rights efforts in the country.

    • Better than jailing them and hanging them like in Iran:)

    • So if you speak out against the government if israel., they will find one way or another to silence you.
Just legislate restrictions on how they can raise funds. Next it will be on what they say.
