"Research suggests that prostate cancer cells might stop growing if they are treated with chemicals found in cannabis" - Direct quote from the article
This is not saying smoking it. What this is saying is that chemicals derived from cannabis have shown signs of stopping the growth of cancer cells. Basically scientists are removing these chemicals from the cannabis and using those derived chemicals in medicinal research. The scientists are not having mice smoke pot......just injecting their cancer tumors with chemicals derived from cannabis
