I haven't had a credit card in over 20 years! I figure, people lived just fine without credit cards before the first one came along (Diner's Club) so why do so many folks consider this a necessity? If people feel they can't live without their cc, the cc companies will stick it to them- much like a crack dealer stickin' it to an addict....

I hate credit cards. i only got one to study abroad and to "gain credit" whatever than means...anyways my boyfriend and his mom both got nailed with outrageous hikes in their interest rates and it's probably because of these rule chanegs...
