Yes, this plant should be part of everyones herb garden.
If people are allowed to make beer, wine, liquor and grow their own tobacco, herbs and flowers, then WTF??
We have put up with this ridiculousness long enough. I happen to know for sure that marijuana can be a life saver when you have an illness or chronic condition that makes you so nauseous you feel like all you have left to puke up is your stomach lining. So-called "law".

I maintain that it's cruel and unusual punishment to withhold anything that provides relief for folks that are in pain and need it. Cannabis is also uniquely helpful for folks that are going through things like Chemo where nausea prevents them from keeping food down. For those states that have enacted it, one needs a doctors OK and prescription to legally have the substance. This is the very same procedure that's used to prescribe heavy duty narcotics.

Gods and Liberals above, as well as all the Uncle Charlie's floating around, are determined to try to paint this something that it's not. They're guilty of believing what they've been told instead of examining the evidence. They don't want me to get high. That's tough. I do want to get high and I'll damn well do the thing whether they approve or no. But that's a different issue. I'm not sick. Medical cannabis has to do with folks that need it; not folks that just want it, like me.

In the end, they'll quit locking us up. But in the meantime they need to cut the folks that have a need some slack. Smoking, vaporizing or eating cannabis beats hell out of sticking numerous and harmful drugs in your body. There are even some here on Current that have tried the pill route and far prefer cannabis. It time they got a little relief from this prosecution. You're supposed to help people that are sick - not punish them.

most people who rally for this are not even sick..if marijuana is a medicine then THEY ARE ABUSING IT..

It's time to right the wrongs of Richard Nixon and reclassify cannabis hemp. Richard Nixon left office in shame, but left his shameful policy behind. Sadly politicians have been using tough on drugs (cannabis) for political purposes, while ignoring facts. Facts matter, the truth matters more.

It's time to end the 'reefer madness'! It's time for politicians to stop being afforded the luxury of lying. If it's not the truth, they should be held accountable. Cannabis should not be classified equal with heroin and cocaine. That's just crazy!
