Regardless of the smoldering controversy cannabis stirs up in Sacramento City Hall, the state Capitol and Washington D.C., the global scientific community has examined the drug with increasing interest recently. Local patients and doctors can't say enough about the groundbreaking potential of THC as a pharmaceutical.

    • ahh but there are so many people getting sucked up into the marinol idea even after hearing the facts, reason being because all that is talked about is THC, when in reality the actual medicine is MARIJUANA not just THC which is in MARIJUANA

    • the science has ben clear for decades... pot is not any more harmful than alcohol (if fact far less harmful), and it's negatives are so greatly out weighed by it's positives... the science is in, the people have spoken, the government is just ignoring us.

    • Should be able to grow it in my yard like my rosemary, tobacco and other herbs and cook with it or smoke it. Should be able to make it into hashish like anyone else can make beer, wine or other homemade mash or liquor.
      Should be able to have and use it any time I need for my extreme nausea due to chronic illness because when I have, it has helped.
      Should be able to grow and use it for fun. And funny how I have never known or heard of anyone on marijuana beating someone to death or having a knock-down, drag-out fight because their vision was so blurred they thought someone gave them the evil eye. Also never heard of anyone falling down, passing out, etc, etc...........Oh, or puking.
