Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt claimed yet another world record as he recorded a stunning victory in the 200m final at the World Championships.

    • I don't think there is a risk of becoming bored by "The Bolt" (please tell me that he was born with that surname!), especially if he keeps breaking records . This is not just about winning, it's the intrigue factor, how far he can take this? What are the limits of the human body?

    • Is there a danger though that we get super bored of Bolt super quickly?

      I have to say I'm one of these people who wanted Roddick to beat Federer at Wimbledon this year, because I get bored of the same person winning over and over.

      Does anyone else feel the this way? Or am I just a misery guts?

      I don't quite understand how you can get bored of the best. I think it's a bit different. If someone is gonna beat him when he is on top form then yeh I'm all for that because that would mean the other Athlete will have to break the WR. Chances are he will lose some races at some point for whatever reason, but he will still be Olympic Champ, World Champ and World Record holder. It's good to have other exceptional athletes around him to push him otherwise these records may not be broken.

      I was rooting for R-Fed can you tell? I just think you have to appreciate these guys while they're around and what they are achieving. Maybe you won't appreciate him till Roddick wins a final scoring 158 aces in a straight set final or the Olympic Champ wins the 100m in a field that doesn't break 10seconds.

    • What an absolute first class athlete. He's a machine and frighteningly fast. In the 100m the US has produced an athlete faster than the great Carl Lewis, smashed the pre-Bolt WR and US national record and he still didn't stand a chance of Gold, it must be so disheartening going into a race knowing you can only get silver.

    • And do you know what this supreme, record smashing titan said? Well after the race Bolt said he wasn't expecting to break the record or indeed win the race in such fashion, because he was a "little tired" after demolishing the 100m world record on Sunday.

      Be very scared every other runner in the world... Bolt has more in his tank!
